2026 Cadillac Escalade Updates and Features

The Escalade has been the premier full-size luxury SUV for over a quarter of a century. With its crazy-spacious cabin, wealth of comfort and tech features, and uncompromising capability, it truly checks all the boxes, and it’s gotten even better since receiving a major overhaul last year.
So, what’s new for 2026? Read on to find out why the Escalade continues to be the finest choice for shoppers near Dentsville and Blythewood, SC.
What’s New in the 2026 Cadillac Escalade?
Considering it received a major facelift for the 2025 model year, it’s no surprise that the Escalade continues into 2026 largely unchanged. However, there are a few key things to note:
- The trims have been renamed and simplified—the list now consists of the Base model, Luxury, Sport, Platinum Luxury, Platinum Sport, and V-Series. Despite the name changes, features in comparably priced trim levels remain largely the same.
- The Latte Metallic exterior paint is no longer available.

2026 Cadillac Escalade Performance
Most Escalade models are powered by a brawny standard 6.2-liter V8 engine, the same one that can be found as optional upgrades in the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra. This engine cranks out a prodigious 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, and it’s paired with a choice between rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
Then, we have the almighty Escalade-V, which gets a supercharged version of the 6.2-liter motor, allowing it to crank out 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque. This model comes with standard all-wheel drive for maximum responsiveness and road grip.
Of course, there’s also the all-electric Escalade IQ and Escalade IQL, but we review those separately. If you’d like to know more about test driving a Cadillac EV, contact our team today.
