The power of the Electric Escalade begins with its 24-module Ultium battery that produces more than 200 kWh of available energy and can take advantage of 800-volt DC fast charging to add 100 miles of range in 10 minutes of charge time. The tremendous energy output of the Ultium battery is put to the pavement by a two motor eAWD system.

It isn’t just about crazy acceleration and speed, though—the Escalade IQ is also powerful enough to offer towing capacity of up to 8,000 pounds.

Does Escalade IQ Have 3 Rows of Seating?

The Escalade IQ offers many changes from its ICE-powered relatives, but the seating capacity of the Escalade IQ stays the same with standard 3-row seating for up to seven passengers.

Front seat passengers will luxuriate in 12-way power seats that include 8-way power adjustment and 4-way power lumbar adjustments.

IQ owners with regular 2^nd row passengers may wish to opt for the available Executive Second Row so the back seat riders can experience first-class luxury as well. That optional seating package includes stowable tray tables, 12.6-inch personal screens, the ability to wirelessly charge two phones, massaging seats, the rear command center screen, and immersive headrest speakers.

The third-row seat of the Escalade IQ is equipped with a power fold function to lay the seats flat and maximize cargo capacity.

Gather the Latest Info on Cadillac Escalade IQ Driving Range

The driving range of an EV is a combination of multiple factors, including the capacity of the battery as mentioned above, and the exterior of the Escalade IQ is carefully crafted to maximize its operating range. It’s able to do this thanks to its:

• Sleek profile which reduces wind resistance while maintaining the powerful stance we demand from an Escalade
• Smooth underbody granted by the Ultium battery platform
• Intelligent grille shutters which can close off airflow when it’s not needed
• Sharp trailing edge on the newest edition of Cadillac’s iconic tail lights

The aerodynamic features combine to give the Escalade IQ a drag coefficient which is roughly 15% lower than previous generations of gas-powered Escalades.

The 24-module Ultium battery and the focus on vehicle aerodynamics contribute to the Escalade IQ’s Cadillac-estimated driving range of 460 miles.

How Much Will the 2025 Cadillac Escalade Cost in Dentsville?

The first all-electric Cadillac Escalade is going to be jammed to the headliner with amazing technological advancements, luxurious appointments, safety equipment, performance thrills, and a tremendous audio experience when you crank up that 36-speaker AKG Studio Reference audio system.

Cadillac has not finalized the pricing of this new EV Escalade, but the MSRP for this genre-defining vehicle is set to start at around $130,000 including destination charges. (The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price excludes, tax, title, license, dealer fees and optional equipment. Dealer sets final price.)

We looked at Cadillac’s informational site on the 2025 Escalade IQ in June of 2024 and there is a very nicely equipped model with an estimated MSRP of around $175,000.
